A food product sold nationwide and online is being pulled from store shelves after a potentially serious allergen concern was identified.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency says Gummy Gainz brand Protein Candy products are affected by the recall. The issue could pose a serious risk to people who are allergic or sensitive to milk.
The recall was triggered by a consumer complaint, and one reaction linked to the products has been reported.

The affected products include all codes where milk is not declared on the label:
- Gummy Gainz Fruit Salad Protein Candy, 49 g
- Gummy Gainz Blue Raspberry Protein Candy, 49 g
- Gummy Gainz Fuzzy Peach Protein Candy, 49 g
- Gummy Gainz Green Apple Protein Candy, 49 g
- Gummy Gainz Sour Watermelon Protein Candy, 49 g
- Gummy Gainz Sour Watermelon Protein Candy, 6 x 49 g
- Gummy Gainz Fruit Salad Protein Candy, 6 x 49 g
- Gummy Gainz Blue Raspberry Protein Candy, 6 x 49 g
- Gummy Gainz Sour Peach Protein Candy, 6 x 49 g
- Gummy Gainz Green Apple Protein Candy, 6 x 49 g
- Gummy Gainz Assorted 6 Pack Protein Candy, 6 x 49 g
- Gummy Gainz Fruit Salad Protein Candy, 12 x 49 g
- Gummy Gainz Blue Raspberry Protein Candy, 12 x 49 g

Consumers who have a milk allergy or sensitivity are being told not to eat the recalled products, as they may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction.
The CFIA says recalled products should be thrown out or returned to the place where they were purchased.
The recalling firm is ProSweets Inc. The recall was published July 4, 2026.
