RECALL: Salt sold in Canada pulled from shelves due to pieces of plastic

Dessert recalled over Salmonella in Canada

Two salt products sold in Canada have been recalled due to pieces of plastic.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency advised that they should not be used, sold, served or distributed.

The affected products are President’s Choice brand Mediterranean Sea Salts and Himalayan Pink Rock Salts.

They have been distributed nationally.

The Mediterranean Sea Salts product is 360 g in size and has the UPC number 0 60383 97655 2, while the Himalayan Pink Rock Salts product is 390 g in size and has the UPC number 0 60383 18288 5.

The recall involves all best before dates up to and including Jan. 17, 2026.
