The Canadian Food Inspection Agency has announced a recall for Taisun brand Vegetarian Mushroom Jerky (Hot) because it may contain milk that is not declared on the label.

The product distributed by Uncle T Food was sold in 169g packages in British Columbia, Alberta, and Ontario.

There have been no reactions associated with the jerky.

However, people with milk allergies are being told not to consume the product.

Customers should either throw the jerky out or return it to the store where it was purchased.

The CFIA says further products may be recalled pending further investigation.

More details about the affected product and its recall can be found on the Health Canada website.
