Costco has issued a recall for a product that it sold in Canada.
The retail giant said in a notice that a certain scooter doesn’t meet safety regulations.
Specifically, the Phantomgogo G63 Electric Snow Scooter is the affected product.

“The Phantomgogo G63 Electric Snow Scooter is classified as a snowmobile under Transport Canada’s Motor Vehicle Safety Regulations,” the notice said.
“The Phantomgogo G63 Electric Snow Scooter does not meet the requirements of the Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 1201 – Snowmobiles including but not limited to deficiencies related to occupant support system, controls, shields and guards, lighting system, general hazards, and CMVSS 115 – vehicle identification number, thereby reducing rider safety and increasing the risks of injuries, including serious injuries.”
Costco indicated that the scooters were sold between November 2024 and April 2025, as well as December 2025 and January of this year.
They have the following Costco item numbers: 1815878 for the ones sold from November 2024 to April 2025, and 1941294 for ones sold more recently.
A recall notice has also been posted by Transport Canada. It says that model years 2024, 2025, and 2026 are affected.
There were 641 of the scooters sold in Canada.
Costco is advising customers to not use the scooter and return it for a refund.
