A recall for a bedroom fan has been expanded in Canada.

Earlier this month, INsauga.com reported on the initial recall notice issued by Health Canada.

Officials said that the power connector inside the fan can corrode and cause overheating, posing a fire risk.

The affected product is the Breez 2-in-1 Smart Bedroom Fan and White Noise Machine.

It provides white noise along with operating as a fan.

The device is white and has a beige stand.

The initial recall notice from Health Canada said that devices that have a serial number beginning with BZ10 or BZ02 were affected.

However, that has now been expanded to include serial numbers that begin with KTCD.

The number can be found on the underside of the wooden base.

As of last Friday, the company hasn’t received any reports of incidents or injuries in Canada.

“In the United States, the company has received six reports of fans overheating and smoking with one report of fire and no reports of injuries or property damage,” Health Canada said.

There were 186 of the fans sold in Canada from June 2023 to December 2025 and 11,900 were sold in the United States.

“Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled Breez 2-in-1 Smart Bedroom Fan and White Noise Machine and go to the Snooz Inc. website to register for a replacement fan.

Snooz Inc. can be reached by phone at 1-855-953-4125, email at [email protected], or via their website.
