A “revitalized” Kingside Park has been re-opened to the public in Oshawa.

The City of Oshawa is excited to announce the reopening and revitalization of Kingside Park, located at 537 Tennyson Ave.

The 2.87 hectare neighbourhood park, located on Tennyson Avenue near Wilson Road South and Dean Avenue, now features pickleball courts, senior and junior playground equipment (including an accessible swing coming soon), parking lot upgrades and patio sets with shade umbrellas (also coming soon). Additionally, tree plantings and naturalized areas connect the natural environment throughout the park.

The redevelopment project followed community engagement feedback

“We are excited to offer the community a revitalized space to meet with friends and family,” said Oshawa Mayor Dan Carter. “The newly revitalized Kingside Park offers residents of all ages many opportunities to enjoy the outdoors from pickleball courts and playground equipment to shaded areas.”
