The super secret date and location is out: The return of the Durham Craft Beer Festival will take place indoors at the historic Biltmore Theatre on October 22.

Almost directly across the street from the location on Ontario Street where the festival had been held from 2014 to 2018, the re-born festival will feature 15-20 breweries in attendance.

With 14 breweries in Durham, including two in Oshawa (there were none in 2018), the festival will likely showcase mostly local breweries but organizers Jeff Davis and Murielle Leonard, who took over the festival from former Buster Rhino’s owner Darryl Koster, say the focus will be on attracting “quality brewers” from across the province.

More details will follow in the coming weeks, including pre-sale ticket links.
