The last long weekend of the summer is fast approaching but the weather forecast isn’t inspiring sunny vacation vibes.
Rain is forecasted for both Saturday and Sunday in parts of southern Ontario, according to Environment and Climate Change Canada.
Cloudy skies, a 40 per cent chance of rain and a high of 26 C is expected on Saturday for Mississauga, Brampton, Burlington, Oakville, Hamilton and Durham Region. The temperature could drop to 15 C in the evening.
There is a 30 per cent chance of showers on Sunday with a high of 22 C. Those heading out Sunday night may want to bring a jacket. There is a single-digit low down to 7 C expected in the evening. A low of around 10 C is expected in Hamilton.
The holiday Monday looks clear and sunny but the temperature high is only 20 C. The lows are down to 7 C in the evening.
