Repairs at a railroad crossing in Milton will result in a temporary road closure.

In conjunction with Canadian Pacific Railway (CPR), the Town of Milton will be completing crossing repairs at the CPR tracks on Sixth Line.

As a result, there will be a full closure at the CPR tracks and there will be no access to them.

Additionally, in order to facilitate the work, Sixth Line from Derry Rd. to Steeles Ave. will be temporarily closed from Sept. 27 at 7:00 a.m. to Oct. 3 at 7:00 p.m.

Traffic will be detoured via Trafalgar Rd., Derry Rd. and Steeles Ave.

Access to businesses north and south of the CPR crossing will be maintained.

“We appreciate your patience,” said the Town on Twitter.
