Race to register for spring and summer programs just around the corner in Mississauga

The race to register for kids’ summer camps, spring activities and other upcoming recreation and culture programs in Mississauga starts two weeks tomorrow.
In the meantime, prior to the window opening to registration on Feb. 20 at 6 a.m., Mississauga residents can preview spring and summer programs and decide what interests them most.
City of Mississauga officials encourage people to take a look at the available programs in advance before signing up in two weeks.
Registration for Mississauga residents opens the day after Family Day, starting at 6 a.m. Those outside of Mississauga can sign up beginning Feb. 26 at 6 a.m.
Starting today, residents can visit Active Mississauga online (see link above) to take a sneak peek at the various programs available for spring and summer 2004, city officials say.
Spring and summer recreation, culture and library programs take place at various facilities across the city including community centres, pools, libraries, museums and the Living Arts Centre.

Those interested in signing up for programs can do so in person at community centres across Mississauga as well as via online registration.
Mississauga officials, as always, urge parents to act quickly when signing their kids up for summer camp as spaces fill up fast.
