Queen Street closed at Kennedy due to cyclist hit by car in Brampton

First responders are attending to a collision in Brampton.

At 3:10 p.m. on Monday (September 20), first responders were called to the area of Queen Street East and Kennedy Road North in relation to a cyclist who was hit by a car.

According to police, the driver of the car remained at the scene, and the cyclist, a young boy, is being taken to a nearby hospital for assessment–the severity of his injuries is still unknown.

The intersection is currently closed, and residents are instructed to avoid the area.
