A popular grilled chicken fast-casual restaurant from Quebec has opened its first Brampton location in a mall food court.

Poulet Rouge is a Quebec-based restaurant chain that got its start in a shopping mall food court in 2012 and has since expanded with dozens of locations. The brand has opened several locations in Ontario, and even has two shops in Edmonton.

Brampton is now among the cities where the Canadian chain has opened, with a location now serving in the Bramalea City Centre food court.

With a menu including grilled chicken bowls made with fresh veggies and Mediterranean flavours, Poulet Rouge says its food is ”Modern Fusion,” with four different flavours of chicken – BBQ (sweet), Hercules (lemon), Shisha (garlic) and Volcano (spicy). Bowls can be made with different bases, like rice, quinoa or lettuce, and sauces including smoky chipotle, Caesar ranch and cilantro lime.

There are also vegetarian and vegan options, along with Keto and Halal offerings.

“We provide the perfect combination of tasty, well-balanced, and generous meals,” the chain says on its website. “Our dishes are customizable with fresh, quality ingredients and promptly served by friendly people, at an affordable price.”

You can try Poulet Rouge by visiting the Bramalea City Centre food court, open Monday to Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. and on Sundays from 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. For more information, follow Poulet Rouge on Instagram.
