Niagara Falls comedian David Green will be part of the entertainment on this Tuesday’s (April 25) when the reality show Canada’s Got Talent returns with its semi-finals rounds, ticking down to its May finale.

Known as “The Punniest Comedian in Canada,” his witty wordplay and silly stories have been seen on many a stage in the Niagara Region as he’s perhaps best-known locally as the Director of the annual Garden City Comedy Festival where he was awarded the 40-Under-40 Business Achievement Award.

Since moving from Nottingham, U.K. to Niagara Falls, the award-winning performer has headlined comedy clubs across Ontario and he has graced the stage with Alonzo Bodden, Jamie Kennedy, Sean Cullen, K Trevor Wilson and Cash Cab’s Adam Growe.

His online videos have amassed over nine million views and 16,000 followers across the globe.

His website says, “Some call him silly, some call him brilliant, some don’t call him at all. The loss of his phone has proven to be somewhat problematic.”

Canada’s Got Talent airs weekly on City-TV Tuesday nights at 8 pm.

Here’s a taste of Green’s puntastic wordplay.
