York Region police say they have charged a 61-year-old psychologist in a sexual assault case involving a child at a clinic in Markham.
Police say the child went to an appointment in the area of John Street and Bayview Avenue last week.
There, police allege the psychologist gave the child a massage and touched them inappropriately.
They say the child was not physically harmed.
Police say they searched a residence in Markham on Saturday and charged the 61-year-old with sexual assault and sexual interference.
Police believe there may be more victims and have released a photo of the accused on the force’s website.
