The Province is reporting just 270 new cases of COVID-19 and three new deaths as of Monday—it’s the lowest single-day increase since mid-September.

While the drop in cases is certainly good news, the increase in cases is with only 13,828 tests performed, bringing the positivity rate to almost two per cent—1.95.

Of Monday’s cases, only 42 are in Peel Region, which is the third-most, behind Toronto and Waterloo.

Additionally, the Province is reporting another 118,625 vaccinations, bringing the total number of Ontarians who have received at least one dose of a vaccine to 65.5 per cent.

Further, 76 per cent of adults in Ontario have received at least one dose, and 23.2 per cent have been fully immunized.
