Province reporting 340 new COVID-19 cases, 133 people in ICU

The province is reporting 340 new COVID-19 cases today, Oct. 31 (down 16 from yesterday) and two more deaths, with the seven-day case average falling to 349.
There are 58 new cases in Toronto, 27 in Niagara, 26 in Peel (Mississauga, Brampton and Caledon), 22 in York, eight in Halton, eight in Durham, and six in Hamilton.
Of today’s 340 cases, 223 are in individuals who are not fully vaccinated or have an unknown vaccination status and 117 are in fully vaccinated individuals, the province reports.
104 people are currently hospitalized with COVID-19, and 133 people are in ICU.
22,514,717 vaccine doses have been administered in Ontario to date, with nearly 88.2% of Ontarians 12+ having received one dose and 84.5% having received two doses.
The province has recently released its reopening plan, which outlines the plan to lift remaining public health and workplace safety measures by March 2022.
