Province reporting 213 new COVID-19 cases, 17 in Mississauga and Brampton

The province is reporting 213 new COVID-19 cases today, July 4 (+4 from yesterday) and 9 deaths (+0 from yesterday). There are 49 new cases in Waterloo, 42 in Toronto, 25 in Grey Bruce, 17 in Peel (Mississauga, Brampton and Caledon), 12 in Halton, 10 in Hamilton, 6 in Durham, and 6 in Niagara.

On July 3 Peel reported just 12 cases, its lowest count since August 2020.

Since yesterday, 286 more cases are considered resolved and nearly 19,000 more tests completed.

15,561,071 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in Ontario to date, including 196,068 doses administered yesterday, July 3.

The province entered stage two of its reopening framework earlier this week, allowing for larger social gatherings and for more businesses and facilities to reopen.
