Province reporting 176 new COVID-19 cases, 20 in Mississauga and Brampton

The province is reporting 176 new COVID-19 cases today, July 17 (up 17 from yesterday) and three new deaths (down seven from yesterday). There are 37 new cases in Toronto, 20 in Waterloo, 20 in Peel (Mississauga, Brampton and Caledon), 15 in Grey Bruce, 11 in York, 10 in Halton, nine in Hamilton, seven in Durham and two in Niagara.

Since yesterday, 203 more cases are considered resolved and nearly 21,400 more tests completed.

17,979,575 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in Ontario to date, including 169,103 doses administered yesterday, July 16.

The province entered Stage 3 of its reopening on Friday, July 16, permitting larger social gatherings and for more businesses and establishments to reopen.
