Province reporting 170 new COVID-19 cases, 26 in Mississauga and Brampton

The province is reporting 170 new COVID-19 cases today, July 24 (down 22 from yesterday) and three new deaths (up two from yesterday). There are 44 new cases in Toronto, 26 in Peel (Mississauga, Brampton and Caledon), 17 in Hamilton, 15 in the Region of Waterloo, 13 in Grey Bruce, three in Halton and Durham, and two in Niagara.

Since yesterday, 150 more cases are considered resolved and over 19,100 more tests completed.

As of 8:00 p.m. yesterday, 18,848,661 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in Ontario, including 124,261 doses administered yesterday (July 23).

The province is now in Stage 3 of its reopening plan, permitting larger social gatherings and for more businesses and establishments to reopen.
