Province reporting 1,033 new COVID-19 cases, 214 in Mississauga and Brampton

The province is reporting 1,033 new COVID-19 cases today, May 30 (down 24 from yesterday) and 18 deaths (up three from yesterday).

There are 237 new cases in Toronto, 214 in Peel, 80 in York Region, 59 in Hamilton, and 30 in Halton.

Since yesterday, 2,067 more cases are considered resolved and nearly 26,600 more tests completed.

8,984,278 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in Ontario to date.

The province recently announced its plan to more quickly get residents fully vaccinated. Those who are scheduled to get a first dose May 31 or after can book their second dose for 28 days later, based on eligible age group and vaccine availability.
