Pride flags are being stolen across Hamilton.

Reports indicate flags have been taken at four schools in the Mountain area and two more at local residences.

Hamilton police have launched an investigation. They are unclear if the incidents are connected.

“Hate crime in Hamilton is not acceptable. Left unchecked, hate crime can have a far-reaching impact on communities,” the department said in a released statement.
