Price of luxury home in Burlington jumps by $2.3 million in four years

This luxury home on Nora Dr. just recently sold for over $3 million.

The price of a luxury home in Burlington just sold for $3,478,000, an increase of $2.3 million from what it sold for just four years ago.

“Welcome to the most sought-after property in Aldershot,” read the original listing went the house went up for sale.

Located on Nora Dr., the home boasts up to five bedrooms, four bathrooms and parking space for 10 vehicles.

The size of the house is approximately 4,500-sq-ft of living space while the lot size is 90-ft by 125-ft

The ultra-modern-looking home has an open concept design with such features as a rain shower falling from the skylight, 15-ft ceilings, walk-in wine cellar, a large lower-level entertainment room, and a spa-inspired en-suite bathroom in the primary bedroom.

Nicely isolated, the home only has one nearby house and includes an impressive view of the Burlington Golf & Country Club along two sides of the home.

The house sold in 18 days recently and was listed by Gowest Realty Ltd, Brokerage. Its original asking price was $3,650,000.

In June of 2019, the last time the house changed ownership, it sold for $1,175,000.

During the past month the average selling price for a home in Burlington was $948,347 (an 18 per cent drop from the previous year), while in the Aldershot South neighbourhood, the average was $1,150,635 (an 8 per cent decline from the same time in 2022).
