A car crashed into a hydro pole in Brampton on Wednesday night, taking down power lines and sending a man to hospital with injuries.
The Peel police conveyed that a span of Churchville Rd., south of Steeles Ave. W., is closed because of the downed hydro wires. Northbound Churchville Rd. is accessible from Creditview Rd., the police added. The outage is expected to last until 9:30 p.m., with a total of 28 Alectra Utilities having been affected.
Peel Regional Police said the injured man was taken to a local hospital to be assessed. Most often, that is an indication of minor injuries.
