Power outage on Main St. affecting over 300 customers in Hamilton

A power outage on Main St. E. is affecting over 300 homes and businesses in Hamilton today (Sept 4).

Alectra Utilities says 310 customers are without power along a portion of Main St. from Sherman Ave. to Carrick Ave.

Alectra first reported the power outage at 3:20 p.m., saying an overhead distribution problem is the cause.

The estimated time for power restoration is this evening at 7 p.m.
