Power outage in St. Catharines impacting over 800 homes and businesses

An ongoing power outage in St. Catharines is affecting over 800 homes and businesses.

Alectra Utilities says the outage has been reported in the area of Highway 406 to Wembly Drive from Bradley Street to Birch Lane.

Approx 892 residential and commercial spaces are without power.

Crews have been dispatched and the power is expected to return by 6:30 pm.
