Power outage in Mississauga affecting over 1681 homes and businesses

An afternoon power outage in a large section of Mississauga could lead to numerous delays on area roads this afternoon.

Currently some 1681 homes and businesses in the area of Britannia Rd. to Hwy. 403 and Fallingbrook Dr. to Kennedy Rd. have been affected by the outage, which was first reported at 2:06 p.m.

A hydro crew has been dispatched to the area.
