Power outage impacts more than 250 homes and businesses in Mississauga

A sudden power outage has caused loss of electricity to approximately 265 homes and businesses in the area of Walden Circle.

Alectra said in a tweet that crews have been dispatched to address the issue, with an estimated time of restoration (ETR) set for 12 a.m.

The reason for the outage is still unknown.

However, residents and businesses are urged to report the outage and any related concerns to the utility company’s customer service line.
