UPDATE: Power outage impacting over 1300 homes and businesses in Mississauga

UPDATE: Alectra has confirmed that the power has been restored in Mississauga. Anyone who may still be experiencing power loss is advised to contact 1-833-ALECTRA.
A power outage is affecting thousands of Mississauga residents today (June 2.)
Around 8 a.m., the utilities company Alectra, reported that approximately 1,385 homes and businesses were experiencing a power outage.
The cause of the outage is unknown at this time.
The utilities company reported that a crew has been dispatched to fix the issue, and power is estimated to be fully restored around 11 a.m.
