Power outages affecting almost 1,000 homes and businesses in Mississauga

Some Mississauga residents are without power this morning (June 20).

Alectra reports that a power outage in the area of Queen St N and Britannia Rd W in Streetsville is affecting approximately 252 homes and businesses.

Additionally, there’s an outage in the Burnhamthorpe Rd E and Cawthra Rd area affecting approximately 707 homes and businesses.

The cause of the outages has not been confirmed.

Crews have been dispatched. There is currently no estimated time for when power will be restored.
