Power outage hits more than 200 homes in Hamilton

Crews are responding to a power outage in the Stoney Creek area of Hamilton this morning (Oct. 31).

Alectra reports that approximately 260 customers are affected in the area of Church Street, Teal Avenue and Frances Avenue.

The cause of the outage is cited as an “overhead distribution problem.”

Power is estimated to return by 11:00 a.m.
