A power outage is currently affecting many residents in certain areas in Mississauga.

Alectra Utilities reported an outage around 5:30 p.m. in the areas of Port Credit and Mineola.

Approximately 2121 customers are affected.

Crews have been dispatched to restore power.

There is currently no estimated time of repair.

UPDATE: Power is estimated to return at 7:30 p.m.
