Power outage affecting thousands of homes and businesses on Hamilton mountain

A power outage is affecting thousands of homes and businesses in Hamilton on Friday afternoon (May 6).
Alectra Utilities reports there is presently a limited power outage in the east mountain affecting 3830 customers. The outage spans from the Linc to Rymal and Dartnall to Upper Wentworth.
The utility provider said the cause of the outage is under investigation and power is expected to be restored by 4:30 p.m.
