Power outage affecting over 3,000 homes and businesses in Mississauga

An ongoing power outage has left a significant amount of residents with no electricity.

Today, Alectra announced that an outage in Mississauga has left approximately 3,501 homes and businesses without power. The outage is impacting residents in the Mclaughlin Road and Eglinton Avenue area.

The utility company says crews have been dispatched.

The power is expected to return between 8 p.m. and 10 p.m.
