Power outage affecting over 1,600 homes and businesses in Mississauga

A major power outage is in effect this afternoon.
At 6:08 p.m., Alectra Utilities reported an outage in Mississauga (but did not disclose the exact area being affected).
Approximately 1,694 homes and businesses are without power.
A crew was dispatched to investigate. It’s currently unknown when power is expected to return.
