Power Outage Affecting Major Roads in Mississauga

If you’re traveling in the Malton area tonight, you might want to re-think your usual route.

Shortly after 11:00 p.m., Peel police announced that traffic lights were out in the Derry Road and Rexwood Road, Derry and Goreway Drive and Derry and Professional Court areas in Mississauga.

The lights are out because of a power outage.

Please avoid the area for now–especially since the rain is already making driving conditions a little more difficult than usual.
