Power outage affecting hundreds of homes and businesses in Waterdown

Alectra Utilities is reporting a power outage in Waterdown Monday (March 2) morning.

Approximately 362 homes and businesses in the area of Parkside Drive to Dundas Street E and Hamilton Street N to First Street are currently affected, the utility provider says.
Crews have been dispatched to the area and they estimate that the return to service to be 12 p.m.
The cause of the outage has not yet been disclosed.
