Power outage affecting homes, businesses in West Brampton

There is currently a power outage in West Brampton.
Power suppliers Alectra report the outage is in the Steeles Ave. W. and Mississauga Rd. area.
It is not known how many residences or business are affected by the outage, but people having been complaining about the lack of power via socia media for several hours. As well, the Alectra outage map on the company’s website does not indicate there is a problem.
However, the company is reporting that crews are working on the problem and expect to have power restored by 5 p.m.
