Power outage affecting homes and traffic lights in Mississauga

A power outage is in effect this evening.

Alectra reports that 247 homes and businesses in the Mississauga Rd and Lakeshore Rd West area are affected.

The outage is also affecting traffic lights in the area.

“If you come across any traffic lights without power, please treat as all-way stops or follow instructions from officer directing traffic,” police said.

Crews have been dispatched and power is estimated to return by 9:00 p.m.
