Power Outage Affecting Close to 2,500 People in Mississauga

A power outage is affecting well over 2,000 people in Mississauga.

Alectra Utilities recently announced that an outage is affecting 2,341 customers from Lakeshore to the QEW and Hurontario to Lakefront Promenade.

Power has been turned off due to a gas leak in this area.

The power should be back on by 5:00 p.m.

UPDATED: according to Alectra, 480 customers are affected as of 5:44 p.m. Power should return by 8 p.m.
