Power knocked out in Burlington neighbourhood

About 350 customers are without power today (July 4) in a Burlington neighbourhood.

Burlington Hydro reports that those affected live in the Appleby Line and New Street area.

Crews are on the scene and have determined that defective equipment has led to the outage. Repairs are being carried out.

“We are aware of an outage in the Pinedale neighbourhood affecting approx. 350 customers,” reports Burlington Hydron on its X channel (formerly Twitter).

The estimated time of power restoration is 6:30 p.m.
