Potential traffic delays due to car rally today in Brampton

Those who are planning to be on the roads today should be aware of a car rally taking place in Brampton.

Police say the participants in today’s rally are heading out from Great Lakes Dr and moving along Bovaird Dr to Chinguacousy Rd.

They’ll then turn onto Chinguacousy and continue to Highway 401.

The car rallies have been ongoing in Brampton to show support for Indian farmers and call for greater ties between Canada and India.

To avoid any traffic disruptions, residents are advised to take alternate routes until the rally has concluded.
