Portion of Steeles in Milton closed for police investigation

Halton Regional Police Services has closed a portion of Steeles Avenue in Milton Thursday morning (Sept. 2) for an investigation.
In a Tweet, police said Steeles Avenue is closed in both directions between James Snow Parkway and 5th Line since early Thursday morning and will remain closed for several more hours.
Motorists are being urged to avoid the area as delays are expected and uniform officers are directing traffic in the area.
The nature of the investigation is yet to be disclosed.
