Portion of Barton Street in Hamilton closed as crews repair watermain break

A portion of Barton Street in lower Stoney Creek is closed Tuesday (March 15) as City of Hamilton crews work to repair a broken watermain.
Barton between Jones Road and Glover Road is closed for the repair, which Hamilton Police said is expected to take most of the day.
Motorists are urged to avoid the area or expect significant traffic delays in the area for the duration of the work.
