Port Perry man arrested in Bancroft on impaired driving charges

A Port Perry man is facing charges for impaired driving after a traffic stop in Bancroft.
Local police responded after a call about a driving complaint around 1 a.m. on October 18. They caught up to the vehicle and performed a breathalyzer test on the driver.
The driver, 28, faces charges for driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under the influence of drugs, driving while prohibited and failure to comply with a probation order.
He was released from custody, but will appear in a Bancroft courtroom on November 23.
