Port Credit Busker Fest Hitting the Streets of Mississauga

Are you super into buskers? If so, you're in luck -- it's that time of year again!
Port Credit Busker Fest is celebrating its 11th year and the festivities kick off on Friday, Aug. 19 at 7 p.m. The event will run from Aug. 19-21 and wrap up on Sunday at 7 p.m.
The highly anticipated three-day event boasts international performers, multiple performance sites and various shows. All shows and events take place in Port Credit and while admission is free, organizers do ask that you tip the buskers.

As for special events, you can catch The Works Incredible Fire Show on Friday, Aug. 19 at Memorial Park at 10 p.m. and Mix and Mingle with the Buskers at Ten Restaurant and Wine Bar after 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday nights. The event will end with the Xtreme Finale, a multi-performer event sponsored by Xtreme Tire Garage that will take place in Memorial Park at 6:45 p.m.
If you've got little ones, you might want to check out the Busker Kidz Zone, located in the Gazebo at Memorial Park. That event runs on Saturday and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. and boasts face painters, balloon sculptures, bubbles, juggling workshops, puppet shows, a chalk art area and more.
