Port Colborne pair facing drug-related charges

A three-month investigation by members of the Niagara Regional Police 3 District (Welland) Street Crime Unit into allegations of drug trafficking from a Port Colbourne home resulted in the arrest of two residents on June 18.

At 4 pm, two suspects were arrested at their home in the King Street and Union Street area.

A subsequent search of the home resulted in police allegedly seizing 7.1 grams of crystal methamphetamine with an estimated street value of $710.

Executing a search warrant later in the day, police allegedly seized a further 24.5 grams of cocaine, 44.7 grams of crystal methamphetamine, $15,565 in Canadian cash, three switchblade knives and a pair of brass knuckles.

Police sat the drugs carry an estimated street value of $7,600.

Bradly J. Dolce, 45, was arrested and charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine; possession for the purpose of trafficking crystal methamphetamine; possession of proceeds obtained by crime over $5,000; failure to comply with a weapons prohibition order and more.

He was held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Dana Kereluik, 33, of Port Colborne, was arrested and charged with possession of a Schedule 1 substance – crystal methamphetamine.

Kereluik was released and will appear in court in the future.
