A popular antique market that was held in Toronto for over 30 years will be moving to a new location in Mississauga.

The Sunday Antique Market, which was held in the St. Lawrence Market neighbourhood for 31 years, will now take place at the Small Arms Inspection Building, located at 1352 Lakeshore Rd. East.

This year, the Sunday Antique Market will take place on Nov. 26 and will feature over 80 vendors from across Ontario and Quebec who will be offering unique items from the past. The event will also feature designers, antique aficionados and savvy collectors.

The free all-ages event is set to feature items from Victorian to mid-century modern, vintage jewellery, antiquarian books and other eclectic pieces, including rare antiques and sought-after vintage items.

“We sell the pieces that inspire the designers,” said Marlene Cook, who launched the Sunday Antique Market over thirty years ago.

The upcoming market will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

It will then begin as a monthly event beginning Sunday, Jan. 15, 2023.
