Popular Starbucks location in Oakville Place has closed

The coffee’s not on anymore at a popular coffee stop at Oakville Place.
The Starbucks location at Oakville Place, located on 240 Leighland Ave., has closed for good.
Lovers of the Seattle-based coffeehouse chain, known for its signature roasts and light bites, can still take heart that they can still get their favourite Starbucks coffee in Oakville.
Local Starbucks shops are still located at 146 Lakeshore Rd. W., in the old Oakville Market Place at 321 Cornwall Rd. Unit 114 and at the Abbey Centre at 215 North Service Rd. W.
After a day of roaming the popular mall, many coffee lovers would stop into Starbucks to grab a vanilla latte, an iced white chocolate mocha or pumpkin spice latte.
“We’d hit the stores all afternoon and then sit and relax while sipping on a vanilla latte. It was so good,” said Oakville’s Michelle Edmonds. “I’m sure I’ll miss it when I’m (at Oakville Place), but thankfully there are other locations close by.”
