Popular shawarma chain opens new location in Oshawa

A popular shawarma chain has opened its first Oshawa location.
Shelby’s Legendary Shawarma known for taking classic Middle Eastern cuisine and tweaking the recipes to create modern, appetizing, and flavourful food, is now open in a plaza located at 1340 Clearbrook Dr.
The most ordered menu items that you might want to check out include falafels, Saj Manaeesh—a bread with various fillings—and the shawarma poutine.
The restaurant also offers a create-your-own shawarma bowl option, where customers can pick their preferred meats and toppings.

If you’re craving a fusion of flavours you might want to try the mac and cheese shawarma.
Shelby’s first opened in London, Ontario, in 2015 and has since expanded to 21 locations across the GTA, including Etobicoke, Oakville, Brampton, Hamilton, and Niagara. They’re gearing up to open another in Burlington and Ajax this year.

Shelby’s has that many locations for a reason. They are very active on their social media platforms and have a following of over 2.2 million on TikTok, with an impressive 70.3 million likes on their posts.
The Oshawa location is open seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m.
