UPDATE: The restaurant has reopened after passing a follow-up inspection on April 27.
A Mississauga restaurant has been forced to close after failing a recent health inspection.
Mazadar Foods, located at 315 Traders Blvd E., was inspected and shut down on Wednesday, Apr. 22.
The restaurant allegedly did not properly store food to prevent contamination (corrected during the inspection) and did not take measures to prevent pests, according to the inspection report.
Other listed infractions include failing to keep some contact surfaces in clean, sanitary condition.
The restaurant is closed and may reopen after passing a follow-up inspection.
This is the second red card on the restaurant’s inspection record after previously failing a health inspection on Nov. 28, 2025.
